Marian Pinckard was a lab technician in the Chemistry Division of the Chicago Met Lab during the Manhattan Project.
According to the Journal of Glenn T. Seaborg, Vol. 3, Pinckard was hired on February 13, 1945 to work as a technician in Leonard I. Katzin’s U-235 group (p. 496).
