Michael Angelich served as a 1st lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the bombardier of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
Albert G. Barsumian served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the radar operator on the Straight Flush during the Hiroshima mission.
Jesse W. Trainer served in the 1027th Air Material Squadron.
Robert J. Dowling served as a staff sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Laggin’ Dragon.
