Mary Fair

Mary Fair worked as a lab assistant at the Metallurgical Lab at the University of Chicago. She was not sure of the purpose of her work, but often used radiation detecting devices in the experiments. After the war, she was transferred to Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, Illinois.
