Robert I. Howes Jr. is an American physicist. He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1941, and was less than two years old when his father Robert Ingersoll Howes joined the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos.
George Miller was a research assistant at the University of Chicago Met Lab. He was present when Chicago Pile-1 went critical on December 2, 1942.
Elbert B. Smith served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
