Dr. Leslie T. McClinton was a research assistant at the University of Chicago Met Lab. After three months of working at the Met Lab, McClinton was transferred to Oak Ridge in 1943.
F. M. Downs worked for the J.A. Jones Construction Company.
Jay Hitchcock worked in the Shop at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Matthew W. Huddleston served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Up An’ Atom.
