William Jacob Knox was an American chemist. Knox was born in 1904 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He attended Harvard University as an undergraduate, and went on to receive an M.
T. H. Samford worked for the J.A. Jones Construction Company.
Robert J. Stock served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned as a tail gunner to the Bockscar, but did not fly on that plane during the Nagasaki bombing mission in August of 1945.
