Elmer began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
Harrington worked at the 100-F Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Charles Oppenheimer (1975- ) is the grandson of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Although Charles Oppenheimer never met his grandfather, he is well versed in the family history.
