Mildred McNamara was a secretary in Oak Ridge, Tennessee from 1942 to 1946. Mildred Catherine Wilton was born in Somerville, Massachusetts in August 1895. She met her husband Thomas McNamara during the interwar period and the couple with their two sons moved to Oak Ridge in 1942 and stayed there after the war.
