Irma E. Shuler was a personnel office manager at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. She was also the second wife of physical chemist and Los Alamos scientist George Kistiakowsky.
C. A. Lindenmeyer worked for the Midwest Piping and Supply Company.
Horace Hood set up equipment for the J.A. Jones Construction Company in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He and his family lived in Kingsport, Tennessee while Hood commuted to Oak Ridge through a series of security checkpoints each day.
Edward J. Fredrick was a research assistant at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
