William Vatter was an American accounting scholar. Vatter was born in 1905 in Cincinnati. In his early years he hoped to be a musician, and he played the violin, viola, piano and French horn.
Charles J. Spiegl was a civilian scientist employed by the Manhattan Project. He was involved in radiation toxicology, studying the effects of radiation on animals at the Trinity Site near Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Coffey worked at the 300 Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Hall Smith, Jr. worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
