Chien-Shiung Wu (1912-1997) was a Chinese American physicist. During the Manhattan Project, she worked at Columbia University, helping develop the process for separating uranium metal into U-235 and U-238 isotopes by gaseous diffusion.
Edward M. Costello served as a captain in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the aircraft commander regularly assigned to the Laggin’ Dragon.
Ledbetter worked in the 200 East Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
E. E. Beauchamp worked for Clinton Laboratories at the X-10 Reactor.
