Nathalie Baumbach was an American chemist who worked on the Manhattan Project.

Baumbach majored in chemistry at the University of California Los Alamos. Baumbach and her husband Harlan went to Chicago in 1943 to work on the Manhattan Project. At the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago she worked as a research assistant with a group studying the recovery of plutonium from solutions.

In August 1944 Baumbach and her husband returned to California.
