William Spindel was a member of the Special Engineer Detachments at Oak Ridge and Los Alamos. Spindel worked in a group that helped make coatings for the implosion bomb.
Larry Weintraub (1921-2011) was a staff member at Los Alamos from 1946 until 1981. Born in Jersey City, Weintraub graduated from the Cooper Union Institute of Technology in 1942 with a degree in chemical engineering.
Robert Mackenzie “Bob” Underhill (1893-1988) was a finance officer for the University of California during the Manhattan Project.
