Harry S. Truman (1884-1972) was the 33rd President of the United States of America. Truman first learned of the Manhattan Project after the death of President Roosevelt in April of 1945, when he relinquished his role as Vice President and took the oath of office as the next president of the United States.
Truman P. Kohman (1916-2010) was an American chemist. Kohman worked on the Manhattan Project at the University of Chicago Metallurgical Laboratory and at Hanford, where he met his wife, Jane Sievers.
Foote worked in the United States Engineer District Office.
Chester J. Krajewski served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Top Secret.
