Ole G. Landsverk was a member of the health physics team at the University of Chicago Metallurgical Laboratory during the Manhattan Project. He helped develop the quartz fiber dosimeter, an important tool for detecting radiation exposure. He later founded his own company, the Landsverk Electrometer Company.
