White worked at the 200 East Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Before he came to Hanford Sam Campbell had a varied work history, including service with the coast artillery in the Philippines and pipeline construction in South America.
Herbert graduated from Cooper Union College. He held a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS in electrical engineering.
