Margaret “Marge” (Hibner) Wickersham grew up in the Fairview area of Española, NM. During the Manhattan Project, she commuted by bus from Española to Los Alamos, where she worked as a maid and as a cashier in the commissary.
J. R. Larimer worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Celia Szapka Klemski was working as a secretary for the State Department in Washington, DC when she was transferred to Manhattan to work on the Manhattan Project in 1942.
