John L. Kuranz (1921-1995) was an American engineer, physicist, and inventor. During the Manhattan Project, Kuranz was a member of the Special Engineer Detachment at the University of Chicago Met Lab.
Herbert S. Bridge was born in 1919 in Berkeley, California. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Maryland in 1941.
Part of the Special Engineer Detachment (SED), Donald C. Harms was first sent to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to work on the Manhattan Project.
