Ernest M. Bahor was a chemist. He graduated from the University of Detroit. He was a member of the Special Engineer Detachment and worked at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project.
Dr. Richard Baker worked at the Ames Laboratory before transferring to Los Alamos. Considered the father of plutonium chemistry, Baker had a long career at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Barbara Martin is a Manhattan Project veteran. Martin graduated from Newton High in 1943 and then attended Boston University.
