Chester S. Chudy served as a private first class in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Straight Flush.
Hoenie worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
W. K. Eister worked for Clinton Laboratories at the X-10 Reactor.
Clyde Stanley Shields was born on December 28, 1918 in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from Mitchell High School in South Dakota, in May of 1936, Shields enlisted in the South Dakota National Guard.
