Duane Sewell began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
Watt worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Everist L. Bednorz served as a second lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the pilot regularly assigned to the B-29 Some Punkins.
