Hymer Friedell was the deputy medical director of the Manhattan Engineer District at Oak Ridge. He worked closely with Robert Stone and Stafford Warren in studying the effects of radiation on the human body.
Glenn Seaborg (1912-1999) was an American nuclear chemist and winner of the 1951 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

Patricia Fallin was a stenographer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
