Duane Sewell began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
John R. Dunning (1907-1975) was an American physicist. Dunning gained the reputation in his small community of Shelby, Nebraska as the town’s smartest kid.
Katharine “Kay” Way (1903-1995) was an American physicist and one of the Manhattan Project’s leading female scientists.
Vaught worked at the 100-D Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
