Quentin V. Larson was a laboratory assistant at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project. Later, he was transferred to Clinton Laboratories in Oak Ridge, TN. At Oak Ridge, he met and married Eleanor Margaret Roen, a secretary for the Manhattan Project.
