Horace Mahorney was a chemical engineer at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. From September 1943 to November 1945, Mahorney was an operator of the mass spectrometer with Dr.
Philip E. Kammerer served in the 1st Ordnance Squadron.
Calvin B. Popwell served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Big Stink, and he and his crew were later reassigned to Luke the Spook.
Matthew H. Canjar served in the 320th Troop Carrier Squadron.
