Louis Turner was a metallurgical engineer who worked on the Manhattan Project. He first became involved with the Manhattan Project at the University of Chicago in 1943.
Robert Schwerin was drafted shortly before the end of the war, in 1945. Following the war, he re-enlisted to avoid being put on a desk job.
Edwin I. Gitnick served in the 320th Troop Carrier Squadron.
