As Secretary of War under Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry Truman, Henry L. Stimson (1867-1950) oversaw the entire Manhattan Project, and was responsible for appointing key project leaders and authorizing project construction sites across the US.
Hannibal Fraga was an engineer. He joined the Manhattan Project in the fall of 1944. He worked in the inspection department at Los Alamos.
William Bunnell served at Los Alamos after the war from 1946 to 1948. He was a security guard and a member of the Military Police located at Los Alamos.
