Warren Sharp was a chemical engineer employed at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Sharp assisted with the gaseous diffusion process as a civilian after unsuccessfully trying to enlist in military service.
Barton B. Crespin served as a private first class in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Necessary Evil.
