Raycliffe C. Davis was a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa. He joined the Army while living in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was assigned with Special Engineering Detachment in Oak Ridge, TN in April 1944.
Haydn Jones was a research assistant in the Physics Division at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Kenneth Peterson was a cryptographer for the 390th Air Service Group in the 509th Composite Group from September 1944 to November 1945.
