William E. Caldes studied chemical engineering at Princeton University. In 1943, he was recruited to join the Manhattan Project, and became the 19th project member at Los Alamos.
Joseph Papineau served in the Army at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
Robert Franklin is the assistant director of the Hanford History Project. He attended Washington State University in Pullman and earned his Master’s degree in history.
Robert O. Willis served in the 603rd Air Engineering Squadron.
