William R. Purnell (1886-1955) was a Rear Admiral in the US Navy and served as the Navy liaison on the Military Policy Committee for the Manhattan Project.
Warren Sharp was a chemical engineer employed at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Sharp assisted with the gaseous diffusion process as a civilian after unsuccessfully trying to enlist in military service.
Eleanor Eekwald was a stenographer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Joel B. Rogers served in the First Ordnance Squadron.
