Alfred A. Lewandowski served as a staff sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the regularly assigned tail gunner for the Big Stink, and he and his crew were later reassigned to Luke the Spook.
Curtis P. Fowler served in the 1027th Air Material Squadron.
Raycliffe C. Davis was a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa. He joined the Army while living in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was assigned with Special Engineering Detachment in Oak Ridge, TN in April 1944.
Phelps worked in the 100 F Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
