Barney J. O’Keefe served in the military as an ensign during the war. He was a member of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs preceeding the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
E. P. Jackson worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Lawrence Myers was a chemist who worked at the Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project. He met his future wife, Janet, in elementary school.
Lambert worked in the 100 B and D Areas at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
