National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Raymond G. Gallagher served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was assigned to the Great Artiste as a gunner and assistant flight engineer. He flew in the Hiroshima mission aboard the Great Artiste. Gallagher also participated in the Nagasaki mission as a crew member of Bockscar.
