Dwight Young (1892-1975) was a professional photographer working at a box factory when he heard about an opening at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory.
Warren Sharp was a chemical engineer employed at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Sharp assisted with the gaseous diffusion process as a civilian after unsuccessfully trying to enlist in military service.
Jas Snodgrass worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
