Roger S. Warner, Jr. was a civilian scientist who worked as part of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled all the components of the two atomic bombs before the August 1945 bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I. B. Whitney worked for Clinton Laboratories at the X-10 Reactor.
Duane Conner worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Beth Olds was a secretary at the University of Chicago Met Lab and at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. After the war, she became executive secretary for the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists and the Atomic Scientists of Chicago, publishers of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.
