Technical Sergeant Anna Kissel was born on February 15, 1916, in Meriden, Connecticut, and grew up in New York out on Long Island in the small town of Westhampton.
Melvin H. Bierman served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. Bierman was regularly assigned as a tail gunner in the Up An’ Atom, but did not fly in that plane in the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
F. C. King worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
W. Harrison worked for the H. K. Ferguson Company.
