Russell Armitage was a Textile Expert in the employment of The Kellex Corporation, a subsidiary of the M.W. Kellogg Company set up to work on the gaseous diffusion process. Armitage's family only discovered his participation in the project when they found a document that certified his work on The Atomic Bomb Manhattan District.
