Lee E. Palmert served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the radio operator regularly assigned to the B-29 Next Objective.
Raycliffe C. Davis was a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa. He joined the Army while living in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was assigned with Special Engineering Detachment in Oak Ridge, TN in April 1944.
