Barney J. O’Keefe served in the military as an ensign during the war. He was a member of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs preceeding the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
E. A. Ely worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Harrison Brown (1917-1986) was an American geochemist. He worked at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) and Oak Ridge sites during the Manhattan Project.
H. L. Russell worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
