Joseph S. Dispensa served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. After the war, Dispensa was assigned to the Japan Atomic Bomb Damage Survey teams.
Warren Nyer (1921-2016) was an American physicist. Nyer was nineteen and studying physics at the University of Chicago when he was hired as a research assistant with the Office of Scientific Research and Development, an early part of the bomb-building program.
Hester Moore was a supervisor in the Communications Department at the Manhattan Project’s Hanford, Washington site during World War II.
