Irene LaViolette was born in Manhattan in 1920. After she finished kindergarten, her family moved to Greece, where her grandparents lived, due to diminishing economic prospects in the United States.
Thoms Davis was an electrician assigned to work at Los Alamos. Prior to working for the Army Corps of Engineers at Los Alamos from January 1945 to June 1946, Davis worked at the Houston Shipyards.
Joyce Merry worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Leon Matlock worked for the Kellex Corporation at the K-25 Plant.
