​ Waldemar Nielsen (1917-2005) worked on the postwar surveys of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Nielsen was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Kenneth Bainbridge

Kenneth Bainbridge (1904-1996) was an American physicist. In September 1940, Bainbridge was the first physicist to be recruited by Ernest Lawrence to the microwave “radio location” project that became the Radiation Laboratory at MIT.

E. F. Hamilton

Hamilton worked at the 300 Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
