Gerhart Friedlander (1916-2009) was a German-American nuclear chemist. Friedlander was born in Munich on July 28, 1916.
William E. Smith served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Straight Flush.
Harriet Peterson was a nurse at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
