Alfred Hanson (1914-2005) was an American physicist. Alfred Hanson came to the Manhattan Project from the University of Wisconsin where he had recently completed his doctoral work, studying the Van de Graaf “long tank” accelerator.
Mildred (Paddock) Richards was born in Portsmouth, ME. She graduated from American University with a BA in English.
William T. Allman, Jr. was born in Richmond, Virginia on December 26, 1917. He joined the army before Pearl Harbor, in an attempt to finish his military service before returning to school.
