Diana (Florence Ruth) Russell was a Manhattan Project veteran from the Hanford, Washington facility. Shortly after the end of the war, she started work reading the radiation exposure badges that all employees in the radioactive areas were required to wear.
Russin worked at the 200 East Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
