Gale Kenney was a member of the Special Engineering Detachment and worked in the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Clinton B. Gass was a G.I. at Los Alamos who worked in the Special Engineer Detachment unit under the Theoretical Physics Division, headed by Dr.
George W. Marquardt served as a captain in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. Although he was regularly assigned to the Up An’ Atom, he flew in the mission to bomb Hiroshima as the aircraft commander of the Necessary Evil.
