Lawrence H. Johnston was an American physicist. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1940, Johnston followed his mentor Luis Alvarez to MIT.
Edward Prebel served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
Kathleen “Kay” (Gavin) Florin was a clerk in the chemistry division of the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
