Robert Keen enlisted in the military on December 28, 1944 and began his training for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in January of 1945.
Meyer Steinberg is a chemical engineer and a veteran of the Special Engineer Detachment. After graduating from Cooper Union College with a degree in chemical engineering, Steinberg was drafted and placed in the Special Engineer Detachment at Oak Ridge.
Doris Allen (1915-2013) was a nurse in the hospital at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Born in Decatur, Illinois, Allen graduated from the Washington University School of Nursing in 1943.
