Irene LaViolette was born in Manhattan in 1920. After she finished kindergarten, her family moved to Greece, where her grandparents lived, due to diminishing economic prospects in the United States.
Baker worked in the 300 Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Jack Hefner joined the Manhattan Project at Oak Ridge in 1943. Hefner was a reactor engineer and helped supervise the construction of the X-10 Graphite Reactor.
George Williams was a staff worker at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
